If you get a call from this number, pretty sure it's a scam, boss said he got a similar call last year. Yeah he asked for my manager first then when I asked what the call was regarding, he said it was for a Branch Card Business giveaway. Caller ID says it's from an IMS. As I always screen calls, I posed as the manager and said that I don't believe we applied for any sweepstakes. He said our number has been "selected" to win one of 3 things, a Ford Explorer, etc. I don't remember the other two. All I had to do was ask 3 simple questions, but I didn't bother as I figured it was a scam to get personal information for identity theft. When I said we aren't interested, he hung up. Voice sounded wierd as if it had been digitally altered, it had a metalic sound to it, wierd.
Caller had a heavy East Indian accent, claimed to be from "Federal Financial Group". Lots of background call-center-type noises. I suspect a scam.
I received a call from this number on my cell phone. I did not answer, because I didn't recognize the number. My daughter wanted me to answer saying it might be important. I told her if it was important they would leave a message. Guess what, no voicemail.
