A woman with a heavy Indian accent said that my computer had notified Microsoft that my operating system was not registered properly. I kept on saying "I don't understand," and after three or four times, she hung up on me. The caller id number was local to me, but I'm sure the scammer procured a number in my area code to route the call. I called the number and got a recording that it was not valid.
