Bogus loan status

Loan scam/fraud. Caller msg transcript: "hi this is Marissa senior loan specialist assigned to your file hello this is Marissa Morgan calling from loan underwriting I'm reaching out regarding your personal loan request your file is currently in final review if you'd prefer to speak directly with underwriting you can reach us at █████".

This is Marissa Morgan calling from Loan Underwriting. I'm reaching out regarding your personal loan request. Your file is currently in final review. If you'd prefer to speak directly with underwriting, you can reach us at 877-578-3476. If you're available now, press 1 and we'll connect you with an underwriter to go over your approval and next steps. We do need to speak with you to finalize a few remaining details, including your loan terms. Your interest rate will vary depending on whether you choose a 36 month or a 60 month option, and each comes with different payment structures. Again, press 1 now to be connected or press 9 to opt out.

Personal Loan Scam

They left a voicemail talking about how we owed on taxes and the IRS needed to collect money.

Trying to contact me about a loan that I never applied for.

Hardship loan scam. Approved for a loan never applied for.

To reach out because we just finished reviewing your file and I do have a status update for you. Based on the underwriting notes that I see here, it looks like we should be able to move with your approval forward. Guy keeps calling from multiple numbers from multiple states but it is the same guy and always ask for someone named Don.

Continues to call asking for Don. I have informed them that they are being recorded and typically they hang up, twice then they who am I then, like dude it doesn’t matter, there is no Don here and you are being recorded.
