431 Area Code

Another call from 1-431-400-9704....BEWARE!!!....I had an ad selling a car on Kijiji, these people called me wanting a commission for selling car!!...#1. how they get my # when I didn't list it??
#2. Very eager to get info from said car!
#3. When I returned call and ask what they wanted, they hung up

Ring scammer. Using auto dialed local numbers in Canada or US, they attempt for you to call back. International and fee overcharged will be billed. Don't call back. Google the number and leave comment here.

PRA Group constantly calling about a debt that does not exist.

PRA Group tries to collect a debt that had already been paid off years ago.

Just another relentless and crooked bunch of scam artists pretending to be legitimate bill collectors.

Oil investment scam

Attempt to get you to click on link in text by including the word "Interac" but not an actual Interac address.

The person with a very thick accent claimed he was calling from Windows tech support and he could see that my computer had a virus and he could log in and fix it before me. I told him it sounded like a scam and he kept arguing that if I didn't let him fix it, my personal information was going to be compromised. I finally just hung up on him.
