Claims to be from a law firm, reads from a script, says there is a case being filed, says address in a different state I never lived in, gets angry when told in hindi that I know this is a scam.

They're trying to verify employment to garnish wages of whatever client they're collecting for. If you verify employment they will garnish the wages of that employee that they are calling about. I recommend hanging out or ignoring.
