Caller ID says dead air

Could be a scam- was a robo call talking about some credit card account I have but not which 1 specifically however I dont have any open credit cards right now so they were lying about that part..then it said I was pre approved for some other card and I could press 1 to talk to someone.

Calls back to back and never leaves a message. The times the calls were answered no one was on the line but I did state to stop calling and hung up.
