Not sure who this is. They left an automated half ass message. The message says "This is a message from..." and repeats 3 times, then hangs up. PFTT... No way I'm calling it back. If you can't tell me who you are or why you're calling, you're not worth a return call or my time.

Have had about 5 messages on voice mail from 800-877-8194 over the past few days - "important call from your jewler". Answered the phone this morning and it was Shaw's Jewlers (so they said) and they were looking for my metally disabled sister-in-law who has never shopped at Shaws and doesn;t live with us. Wouldn't tell me what it was in reference to, and the caller (a woman) was fairly short with me. Wouldn't talk to me about details even after I said the person she was calling for couldn't speak for herself. She insisted on having the name of her guardian (I didn't give it), then said we could call the 800 number to verify. Haven't tried that yet, don't want to be ID'd on their caller ID. If it's a matter of identity theft, I'd like to get it cleared up. My sis-in-law doesn't even have a credit card! So... all this is just for others who may need to know. I have no idea what this is about, but it doesn't sound legit to me.

I too have an account with Kay Jewelers and I had disputed an item on my bill. During that time I was told I wouldn't have to make payments until it was settled. I got a call from this number the very next day after I received a response in the mail from them. They certainly didn't waste time with harassing phone calls.

call at least 3-4 times a day asking to call them back. sometime it is a recording and sometime a 'live' person. I think it is kay jewelers but since they do not identify themselves i really don't know. do you?
