Received call at 1am on my verizon cell phone claiming my debit card was locked number is not in service when called right back

Received recorded call disguising themselves as bank personnel from the fraud department indicating fraudulent activity on my bank card and that I should press 1 to 'unfreeze' my account. This call took place at 1:00 AM. It appeared to be a scam from the onset but called bank during normal business hours to verify. It was in fact a scam. I have reported this to my bank and others. It should be permitted to continue

Received an automated call early this morning from this number that camed they were Soviegn Bank calling to tell me my account had been locked and I should push one on my phone to be connected to the account security department. All fake

Call came at 10:30 pm on my cell phone. I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't pick up. Having read the complaints above, I find it intriguing that just last week I received an unsolicited MasterCard (replacing my VISA) ostensibly from Sovereign Bank of New England. I will investigate further.

Call came about 10:00 P.M. Was an automated voice saying our Mastercard had been deactivated. Prompted me to press 1 to reactivate. When I did it repeated the same message so I pressed 2 to leave. I called my credit card people the next morning and they said card was secure and no problem there. Was a scam. When credit card people and I both tried to call the number on caller I.D. it was disconnected.

received call at appx 130 pm. Robo voice
stating my hsbc debit card was blocked and that I had 2 push 1 to restore it. Dont have a debit card w/ that banks figured it was a scam I call ed Hsbc they said they are aware of it o btw didn't push 1 either

4/2/11.. received a call from Caller Id number (203) 322-9876 caller id. name was ARSHA... AND It was an automated voice.. stating my DEBIT CARD HAS BEEN LOCKED, AND TO Press 1 to update infomration immediately... FUNNY.. THING IS ... I DON'T HAVE A DEBIT CARD... please look into this number and bring them to justice.. there are way too many scams going on today...

automated voice. said that my debit card with my bank was locked. luckily i work for my bank!!! hahah and i could check up on my card and it was all a lie!!! scam!!! do not press 1!!!

Just got a call from this number and realized that this was a scam, for I dont have an account with this Bank. I ended the call with in a minute and notified my carrier of this call. Do not take this call or give any information regarding any accounts information or credit card account numbers. Report this call to your carrier, so they can possible block further calls from this number.
