received call on March 7 on my Verizon phone, the robo call said it was from Wesbanco, press one, yadda yadda
Husband and I both received call on March 6, 2011 on our Verizon account cell phones. It said that ou Mastercard had been locked and to press one for security department. We hung up because we do not have Mastercard.

same call from same number came to my home too, we did not pick up but contacted our bank who informed us this number is one of several that are participating in a very large phishing scam.
Received a phone call on my cell phone at 1:45 PM, Sunday, March 5th, 2011. Robocall with message: "This is Mastercard. Your account has been locked. Please Press 1 to be transferred to our security department." I hung up as this was obviously a phishing scam, trying to get account information. The phone number that showed up was 203-322-9876.
This is a scam. NEVER give out any bank, debit card, credit card, IRS,SS, Medicare or Medicaid numbers to anyone that calls and asks for them. Banks and etc already have your numbers. Be careful, the scammers are good. If you get email or a letter from the above mentioned, I call to see if the bank really sent it.
I got this call last night at 5:10 P.M. on 3/5/11. Name shown was Gisella Kurz It was about debit card at Keesler Credit Union. Press one or two, I pressed two. (I do not have a debit card at Keesler.)
Sun Trust Bank scam. Automated message says "Hello, this is Sun Trust Bank. We're sorry to inform you that your account has been locked" and to press 1 to speak to someone. This is totally a phishing scam, I don't HAVE an account with Sun Trust Bank and never did. I hung up.
