I got a phone call from them as well. I tried to call them back to see whom called, but got an error message saying the 777 phone number is no longer used or valid. But I have a recording of the "sit" tone for my answering machine message, as my telezapper device does not work on modern phones. You knew it worked when you picked it up and heard the sit tone before the dial tone, but it doesn't play the sit tone at all. if you get too many annoying telemarketing calls, you can file against them and maybe get some serious cash. Your local phone company may be able to better assist you in this matter. This happened once when I got tons of automated phone call messages from a debt collecting agency calling me in an attempt to collect a debt from someone else in my family.

I received a call from this number and was informed that they got my number from an international code of numbers and that my computer has not received the latest software update. they wanted information about my computer. They also said that they work with Microsoft. no one from Microsoft ever calls anyone.

These are the same jerks that have been calling several times a day. But now they have a bogus caller ID that says the call is from the NYC food bank.

They said they were calling from "Technical Support" I had a problem with my Windows computer. I told them I had a MAC (apple computer) and they promptly hung up.
