Called my cell phone only letting it ring 2 times then hung up. I never entered to win a free cruise. Has called my house & cell phone many times about this. No business has permission to contact my cell phone as I do not give it out, it's for emergency use.

Same spiel as others noted. Do not call these numbers back! If you do there is a possibility that YOUR cell phone will be charged anywhere from $20.00-$35.00 per call. That is the real scam.

Robo-call. Told me I'd stayed at a resort and didn't receive the full customer package. Thing is, I've never stayed at any resort under my name, and I've never given a hotel my cell number either (which they called on). Complete and total scam.

This number 216-630-5554 called and said it was Customer Service and that i didn't get a deal I was supposed to at my last hotel and that I was entitled to a bunch of free nights in Orlando and Daytona beach and something about renting a car from Avis, then the line went dead.

No. If you are on the Do Not Call registry, you have to report them through that website. If they scam you, report it to your state's attorney general (typically where fraud is handled).

Bahama cruise crap. Illegally called my cell phone again. In my state, it's illegal to place soliciting phone calls to a cell phone without written permission from the cell phone holder. No business has gotten that from me because I don't give my cell phone number out to businesses. Verison cell phone caller.

SCAMMERS ... CON GAME

Called us at 10:45am EDST. No one on line when answered. Called back 3 times and got a weird rapid busy signal. On 4th call back to number a recording came on and said that this was disconnected number. That recording is clearly one taped by the scammers and not by Verizon as they want you to believe.

Called twice today had a different reason both times. It is a wireless caller according to my caller id.
First, I won a trip to the Bahama's. Then It was about a scholarship. You would think they would at least have given the same story for each call
