This is not a legit call and is no financial institution. On March 10, 2017 these people perpetuated a SCAM call by phishing someone's home phone number in Garfield Hgts, Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland).
Today's call is the same people (criminals) making the same call only phishing off someone's Verizon cell phone number in the same Garfield, Hgts, Ohio suburb.
They call on the premise that they are s credit card company wanting to offer a lower interest on a credit card account, only there is no credit card account. They then try to get you to disclose personal & financial information. Once they have it, they will tell you they need to do this for a fee and could you compare credit card numbers... once the call is finished your real credit card balance will be run up til at limit.
This has been reported on in the local Cleveland news. A reporter fell for this and found her Master Card was maxed out. She then had to put an immediate stop on the card and go through the harassment of getting new credit cards issued to her by Master Card. Plus now she had to watch for future usage of the identity theft.
I should not legitimately got this as I do not use or possess credit cards by choice and any bank or financial would not be calling me.
Please be alert and DO NOT give these people either your personal or facial information. It is a valid Scam.
