This number is one of a quite a few phone numbers in a block that have been deemed "NOT
SAFE" and it comes up on the caller id as just that "NOT SAFE CALL".
These numbers with the 216-973 exchange are on the Verizon network in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio location. Sine are being spoofed/stolen without the honest phone number owner often unaware.
This call is a part of a Scam running rampant. The calls come thru on phone numbers in the NOT SAFE block and they are Faux Disney in their scam. There is a female robo voice named "Emily" to start the call who tells the call recipient because of past resort stays, they have an "amazing resort deal" for you.
There is NO legit offer. This is NOT the real Disney as they have no locations in Cleveland, nor would the "real" Disney be calling on spoofed/stolen phone numbers.
If the call recipient waits long enough thru the call, a live man comes on the line. He is often crude and it has been reported he drops "F-bombs" to the call recipient if you turn him down.
He tells the call recipient all that is needed for this resort stay is a "small processing fee" and proceeds to get one's credit or debit card number from the call recipient. People are falling for this scam. Once these criminals obtain the card numbers credit cards are being maxed out in minutes and money taken out of bank accounts, leaving a mess for the call recipient to try undo & recover. From this point, one's personal identity and financial information has been stolen.
The local Cleveland media has reported on & confirmed that the Scam is true.
