They called me and when I tried to call back the message said it was not a working number!

I got a notification that I had a call from a slightly different number : 234-251-1003. When I called back, I got a message from my carrier, Verizon, that that number was no longer in service (40 minutes after the call).
This was a robo call. I called back and a robo voice said if I wanted my number removed from the calling list press one. I pressed one so we will see how it goes.
