Collection company called MRS Associates. They keep calling me after I told them the account was not mine. They said it was for a Verizon account that had $1500 in past due charges but I have never had an account with them. They also threatened to place a collection account on my credit report if I didn't pay the full amount in 5 business days. I sent them a debt verification letter and asked them to give me the account number so I could contact Verizon myself and they refuse to do it. I am recording every conversation with them and have contacted the Attorney General.
