I actually answered it since it was a 281 AC which is a local AC. Once they started this nonsense I hung up.

"Jennifer" called from "Windows Technical Support" advising my computer was sending out numerous error messages. She asked if I was aware of it and I lied and said "yes". She asked why I didn't call to let them know and I said I was waiting for them to call me. She then proceeded to tell me she could help "fix" the problem. She asked me to turn on my computer and I said "if your receiving all these errors on your end, how can my computer be off?" (my computer was on the entire time). She then hung up.

Caller claimed to be from "Windows Technical Support" I said I do not own a Windows computer and was promptly hung up on. Smells like a scam.
