I just got a call from this number at my office. The caller identified herself as a fed-ex rep. Seemed very fishy. She stated that I had sent a package to a recipient in Montreal and they were declining the shipment. She said she needed my approval to ship the package back to me at a cost of $89 and some odd cents. I've heard horror stories of people trying to capture you saying your name and the word yes or something that makes it sound like you confirmed the purchase of something. So I was very cautious with my words as I answered her and tried to make sense of what she was saying. I asked what the package was. She stated it was a "Puff sweater ski jacket". She asked for my name. I ignored her question and asked who the package was being shipped to. She said Arbaz Khan. I asked for the shipping address on the package and she gave me a location in Montreal Canada. (I'm in the U.S. and this is my families business. We all work here together and none of us have shipped anything to Canada). She kept trying to get my verbal approval by asking yes or no questions which I continued to ignore or I would say No and follow it with a question for her. We never made any headway and she started asking for my name or the business name (which I do state when I first answer the phone). When I told her the package isn't ours, she said "Oh. Well, who I am speaking to?" I hung up and found the number on the caller ID to see if anyone else has had this issues. Seems very fishy to me.
