All that was said was "This is regarding your account" Then it hung up. Like an idiot I called the number back. The voice said "number filled" sooo now they have my number. I am trying to get it blocked by Verizon. I am so sick of stupid this sort of crap. Can't people just be honest?

Same as most people credit card rate reduction bs then press 1 and get asked about lowering rates. Asked for company name and got hung up on. Major scam when calling back from missed call get found in database. Phishing scheme fo NOT give them any information if you want to keep your money and identity,

This is ridiculous. I asked the guy calling to connect me with his manager and he asked me "Are you frickin' retarded? Its a simple question. Do you want to lower your debt?" I again asked for his manager and he said "You're a waste of time, bro," and hung up on me. I would like to find him and strangle him. How can you stop this harassment?

know it's a scam because they give no business name or identifying data.
when called back, they hang up when you request removing your number from their list.

Credit Card Scam

9am Saturday morning.

I was on the computer , saw the screen, looked it up as it was not in my area code,
and .....
I see its a telemarketer or scammer.

ha! This site is Wonderful! Now I need an app so I can use this site while driving.

called saying they've sent me many notices, and this is my final notice before they close my account. Went on to say I have the opportunity to lower my interest rates on credit cards. said press 1 for customer service. I pressed 1. The person answered (no hello) "are you interested in lowering your credit card interest rate?". I responded with "you say you've sent me notifications and you will close my account soon. Who are you and what account of mine do you have?" conveniently the call disconnected at that point. I tried calling back and got a "in our database", then call disconnected again. Awesome.

Got a call and they said I was in there data base.

This number called me about lowering credit card rates; i don't have credit cards. I hit number 1 to talk to someone about taking me off the calling list and a man connected and supposedly wanted help from this company. I don't know if the man worked for the company or not but he said "Maybe we were meant to talk to each other" then asked if I was single. I said "no" he said "me either how old are you?" I then hung up on him and had my husband try calling back and it said something like "in our database" then hung up on us.

Area code is Delaware..Recording stating this is the last call regarding a credit card. I do not have a credit card. SPAM CALL

Unsolicited call. I never give my cell number to anyone out of my area code. I just ignore it but wish there was some way to stop these type of calls which deduct from my available minutes.
