I agree with everyone else on this one. This is definitely a SCAM
Everything sounded legit, they talked about how much loan reduction I could have, until the guy said I had to give him verbal permission to access my FSA. I gave it to him, but when he started sending emails requesting a password change on my FSA account I got suspicious and hung up.
FAKE NEWS! It was a fun call. They had an Indian lady call me then she transferred me to an American guy. He asked for basic information and then pretend to "crunch the numbers" hitting his keyboard to sound as if he was doing something. He later asked me to give him consent to login to my student loan account. They must have wanted all of my personal information. hahaha joke was on them. I gave them the wrong DOB and everything.
This number keeps calling me and sending text messages as well indicating that "Your student loans may qualify for complete discharge. Enrollments are first come first serve. Counselors Live from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST at 844-724-6223."
This is a scam. Ignore and/or block!
Received the call today. Same questions and said I was qualified for the loan forgiveness program. Was given a call back number for the sales person of 844-588-3338 x268 His name was Donovan.
