I agree with everyone else on this one. This is definitely a SCAM

Everything sounded legit, they talked about how much loan reduction I could have, until the guy said I had to give him verbal permission to access my FSA. I gave it to him, but when he started sending emails requesting a password change on my FSA account I got suspicious and hung up.

FAKE NEWS! It was a fun call. They had an Indian lady call me then she transferred me to an American guy. He asked for basic information and then pretend to "crunch the numbers" hitting his keyboard to sound as if he was doing something. He later asked me to give him consent to login to my student loan account. They must have wanted all of my personal information. hahaha joke was on them. I gave them the wrong DOB and everything.

This number keeps calling me and sending text messages as well indicating that "Your student loans may qualify for complete discharge. Enrollments are first come first serve. Counselors Live from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST at 844-724-6223."

This is a scam. Ignore and/or block!

This call was a follow up call from this number: 315-368-4025. The caller said that I qualified by the Obama Loan Forgiveness Program and that my 200K student loan would be forgiven after 40 payments of $39/month. So for $9,600, $190,400 of my federal loan would be forgiven.
I was so excited. I wanted to believe them. They asked qualifying questions like my adjusted gross income last year, how much I earn this year, my age, whether I was single or married. Then after they said I qualified, they began to ask more personal questions: DOB, address, social security. I realized that I needed to check the phone number out, so I googled it real fast on the computer while on the phone with them. The number came up as a scam number, so I gave fake information for everything and then ended the call and blocked the number. As soon as I did, I received a call from this number and it was the same people, encouraging me to continue with the program. I am so worried that this group of people are defrauding many many vulnerable people out of their money. Please beware! If it's too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true!!
