After reading the lists above I wanted to assure a lot of you that the law is on to this guy. Give it some more time, but be assured he will be caught or stopped. Don't hesitate for one moment by NOT reporting this to the authorities. His collection tactics are 100% illegal and you owe him nothing. Call the police, file with the FBI and help out.

Yeah, I heard about this idiot as well. Collecting on old, sold off debts and using every illegal tactic in the books. Does so on a roaming phone and uses an alias for almost certain. Don't pay this so-called professional one cent and call the authorities asap. Stop this criminal activity once and for all..

I hope so. I plan to press charges as well and SUE the hell out of him if he is found. Guy is a total scammer and full of it.. Needs to be stopped and now. I have some police friends as well and they have contacts with the FBI, so I may be able to speed this up some..

The FBI has a report filed against this guy now. I also got a call, read these posts and filed. They have a list a mile long on these types of scams. He is using a pre-paid Verizon cell phone, a "fake" Investigator tag and has zero influence with whatever law enforcement agency he is reportedly connected to. I asked law enforcement locally here for advice and they recommended the FBI website to file a complaint. All they have is the number at this point, but they are tracing calls I assume as we speak.

I got a similar call. Called my attorney, filed a complaint with the FTC, called a police friend I have outside LA to check the number and filed a complaint with my states Attorney Generals office as well as California. If this moron calls me again, the next step is higher up and my police friend in California told me he would give me all the assistance he could. This is a junk-debt collector calling about out of SOL loans he bought for pennies on the dollar. YOU all owe him nothing, as the original creditor already wrote off the debt. Laugh at him, give him ZERO information and then try like hell to get something out of him. If you find anything out, call law enforcement and the courts and press charges.

Yeah, I read a few things about this butthead so-called Dave Young. Also goes as Nate Richmond. His cell number is most likely a pay per month "Pre-pay" account so it can't be traced. Total scam. Don't pay him anything

David Young call me from this number 323-605-1472 on my job asking me question about some cash advance place that he said I owe he never said what company he was working for, I never had a cash advance with this company,he ask for my checking account # which I did not give to him,he was not very polite person at all he talks really fast so you wont be able to ask any questions,he also trys to scare you,I told David Young to give me his information so I could give it to my lawyer,the next stop will be the attorney general for scammers

David Young has been told to stop calling me by owner of a company that I owe a debt to. I made a payment directly to the company and Young told me that it was unacceptable and to deal with him instead. He lied to me and said the company owners did not want to hear from me. I have made future payment arrangements with company and they are willing to work with me. Young has called me 15 to 20 times being threatening, harassing, and rude. In addition he told me to send him money Western Union instead of going into the company's office and making a payment.
