GE Capital calling for the previous owner of my cell phone number. I explained that I did not know this person and that they no longer have this number, and was told that I would be removed from their call list. Several months later, they called again to ask for the same person. Told them--again--that the person they were seeking did not have this number any longer. Hopefully this time it will stick. So annoying, but technically not their fault, I suppose.

Won't give name but requested mine. Its a collection agency, i have no doubt.

As far as I know this is a collection outfit. They called right at 8:55 AM today looking for a relative I know has money issues. I told them no one with that name lived here and to take this number off their list.

I called these people back after they called me on a Sunday morning, which from what I understand they cannot do. They refused to confirm they would take my phone off my list without knowing my name, which I refused to give them. They said they had a right to know that. I think GE Capital needs to know who these scammers are. They sound like a bill collector. I have no delinquencies.

I've been getting calls constantly, day and night from these people!!!!! After doing a search on the phone number, I found that I'm not the only one being harassed by this company. I just called and spoke to some woman and when I gave her my phone number she said they were looking for a Susan Something and I said I don't even know a Susan and I just Googled you guys so I know the game this company is playing. I told her if I received another call I'm calling the FCC and reporting them for harassment. She said thanks and have a nice day and I replied with the same fake overjoyed enthusiasm for her to have a nice day as well. End of conversation!!!

Caller ID says GE MONEY. I did not pick up, and they did not leave a message. I did "redial" and, after the recording said they might record the call, i listened to the recorded options and selected one that let me speak with an operator. "June" answered and asked me to tell her my name and address, i believe, which i did not. My first words informed her that i was recording the call, which she said was not allowed, but she would let me speak with The Supervisor. After a few moments, she came back on the line and said that she was allowed to speak with me. She asked for my phone number. I asked her "What does your Caller ID say?". She read back my phone number, and i agreed that was true. I asked her what company she represents and she said GE Capital. I asked her what she needed. She wanted to speak with "Margaret". i informed her that there is no one here by that name and we have no business with GE Capital, and she should take the number out of their system, which she agreed to do. If they call again, i will report them to the FCC for Harassment.

Have called several times and state they are with GE Money and keep asking for my address. I state I will not give that information until they tell me why they are calling. They never state why, just that they have "personal business information to mail to me". Hello???? If you are a debt collector, then send information to my house. If you are trying to sell me something, send it to my house. Why do you have to verify the address you have? You don't, and just identify yourself or remove me from the call list like I've asked you to do 7 times now.
