File a complaint with the FTC I did and down to one call a week. Dell also wants you to fill out a form on their website. I called Dell customer service not the number that was left on voicemail. Your lucky they told me that my laptop was under a terrorist attack and needed access to it-right was at work and laptop was off. Other numbers they call by:
515-708-7200, 641-5190481, 936-524-8547, 515-829-0599, 641-351-5112, 515-528-7960, 877-841-3509, 866-795-5597
Been receiving calls 6 to 10 calls a day from the following phone numbers (512) 370-3820; (855) 678-5359; (855) 676-8763; (844) 331-3287; (844) 331-3275; Claiming that they are a technician from Dell Support and they just saw a Security Breach, with the software install on the laptop. To please call back so Dell can fix the problem otherwise I am on risk of losing all my data by the end of the month. This been going on for a month and three days, so far.
They have been calling me over and over. I have already told them I know who you are and you are NOT Dell. You are scammers.
Caller ID said it was Dell Computers. It is a scam using hacked customer data from dell. They claim your computer is sending "signals" that it has been infected. They will have the correct service id for your computer. I called the real Dell service support and they said it was a scam.
