I received a call from this phone number today. This area code is 585 (the state of New York), I live in Nevada so right away this seemed fishy to me. I listened to the voicemail and part of it was cut off, so this is all I was able to get out of the message that sounded like a female robot voice "Call us back at 585-364-6539...again... this is the IRS please contact us or we will take action against you...again the phone number to contact is 585-364-6539"

I do not owe the IRS any money, so this is a total SCAM!!!!!!! I would like to find out whoever keeps getting my phone number for strange scam calls, this is illegal and they have no right to keep disturbing me or anyone else fo rthat matter.

I ALSO GOT THIS CALL FROM 585-364-6540 CLAIMING TO BE FROM THE IRS THAT IF NOT RESPONDED WILL PROSECUTE. THEY CALLED ME AT 1:45PM THE CALL IS ABOUT .49 SECOND

Just received pre-recorded message today claiming to be the IRS. It requests that you call back at the 585-364-6540 number, which was also the same number on my caller ID. They state that if you don't call, they will have to prosecute.
