Did not sound automated to me, but some of those robots have started sounding real (at least until you try to talk to them), so it's hard to tell. Did not have an accent. He asked if he could speak to the head of household if that person was available. I told him that was me (since I live alone), and got a good 30 seconds of silence until he hung up.

Automated call. If you answer it the computer detects it and then a live person picks up after about 5 Seconds. I think it was a Apu.

Then you get disconnected. Block it.

This was an automated call until I answered. After I answered, it took 5 seconds for an actual person to ask for me by name. They knew my name, but the call was disconnected and they didn’t call back. I have good credit, so it’s not a debt collector.
