Surrey Police Service (SPS) is warning the public that our non-emergency number, (604) 599-0502, is currently being spoofed by fraudsters to contact people with the objective of obtaining their personal information. Incoming calls appear to be from SPS’s number. If a person answers, the caller may even fabricate an officer’s name and badge number to attempt to gain trust. These calls are not legitimate.

We advise the public of the following:

Do not provide personal information over the phone.
Do not send money or respond to any links sent by the caller.
End the call as quickly as possible.
Verify the credentials of the caller by calling our non-emergency number (604) 599-0502 to provide details about the call.

On May 24,2024 a video evidence showing a former president David Foulds and Sgt.Paula Forbes among other RCMP officers breaking federal laws recorded by sunshine coop member dated December 15,2021 was submitted to Federal agency in Ottawa. A complete IT & Watchdog reports outlining 73 counts of police misconduct was also part of the deposition to launch a full criminal investigation, it will be up to Federal Agency to take legal actions or make any decisions in this case.Surrey RCMP, CRCC & CIVIL LITIGATION were informed in the last 14 months of hard evidence but unfortunately choose to ignore it and covered it up. As a member of watchdog group involved in this case for the last 24 months,I hope that justice had been served and officers breaking laws will be held accountable.

A Federal complaint was filled # 101626 including 11 police incidents, video evidence, statements by Parents & community members vs. - DAVID FOULDS a former president of Sunshine housing cooperative/Whalley Little League. - SGT. RAYMOND STANDFORD of Surrey RCMP detachment. - Sunshine board of directors including Mary Lou Woldu a secretary & CBSA employee.
