call from : 6095037035
Claimed was dell support part of the Windows technical department.
had me go to eventvwr, also assoc and match the .zfsendtotarget CLSID (which is the same as everyone) and claimed that it was a unique machine code.

Had me to go www.quicksupportnow.com and install teamviewer. I dumped the call after that as they just want to remote in.

I received a call today at 2:40, the man said he was Ricky Shore (or Stone) and said he was calling about a problem I was having with my computer.
I told him I take care of my computer problems and hung up.

They are Indian scammers impersonating Dell tech support calling you to try to get you to let them access your computer to install virus on your computer and then they will offer to sell you "repair" program to remove the virus they installed.
They have info for your name, home address, email address along with computer model and service tag because
Dell server was hacked or these are the criminal lowlife Indians employed by the Dell outsourced tech Dept. in India.
Legitimate calls from Dell are only to return a customer's phone call. Dell never calls a customer out of the blue.

Identified themselves as US Technical. Said is name was Ricky Shore? He said that my computer was downloading something but I couldn't understand due to heavy accent. I said it sounded like a scam and he said, ok, then we will shut down your computer and hung up.

They tried to do some operations on my computer. I think that it would allow them to take control of my computer. I told them that I have a tech friend that checks my computer and I have no problems and hung up. I blocked the callers number.

very abrasive caller - not immediately there when i answer and then goes into his spiel about being from windows technical support. when i ask him to take me off his call list, he gets angry and starts demanding "FOR WHAT? TELL ME FOR WHAT!" he interrupts and then hangs up. pretty much just a dick.

I got this call too. They claimed my computer was causing issues with “the network”. I asked them which computer and they told me it was the one I used to access the internet. I asked them what I needed to do....this is where the fun begins....
The person, let’s call him Bobbie, asked me to “hit the windows key + R”....I told him “hmm, I didn’t have a key have a "window" key. I have a Ctrl, Alt, and a squiggly looking key”.
He said “press that key + R”.
Told him nothing worked.....he then asked me to hit the Start icon. I said you mean the power button ?
He said no, the start button.....I swear this went on for about 5 minutes  .
He gave up and asked me to open my computer.. I asked “is that the folder with the smiley face ?”.....Bobbie at this point is losing his mind.

He hung up…

Calls claiming to be from Windows Technical support (Windows will NEVER Call you directly) - and will offer "services" to fix an infected computer. Will end up infecting and locking your computer causing damage to your system, or making it inaccessible. DO NOT ANSWER IT

The company I work for has been inundated with calls from users attempting to return a missed call from (609) 503-7035.
After working with our phone provider I have discovered that scammers such as this do NOT want return calls so they set to forward to a number they pick out of thin air. In this case we are unlucky and have to deal with agitated callers.
There is presently a cease and desist order out to stop these scammers forwarding to us, but most likely they will then forward to someone else.
The number is owned by http://www.weguardyourpcnow.net - the best bet is to lodge a complaint to them.
