They call about once a week or so, I haven't answered to see what it is.

I have also recieved multiple calls from this number, no messages left, no one answers if I pick up. Call dates: 12/27/2010, 2:41 pm, 12/30/2010 2:11 pm; 1/8/2011, 11:45 am, 1/12/2011, 2:42pm. I called Verizon's Unlawful Call Center, 1-800-518-5507 to file a report that will be submitted to the FTC.

I was told that telemarketers have found a way to use "fake" phone numbers. I was also told there is currently an effort to create a law to make this illegal. In the meantime, since I am registered at www.donotcall.gov, these calls are illegal. The FTC wil investigate, and once they locate the origin of the calls, they will be fined for each instance.

If this happens to you, make a list of each call (I just had to check the caller ID log on my phone). Call your phone company to report it. The calls may not stop right away, but at least at some point these people will get a fine.

comes up N E GREEN - I wouldnt p/u because I read in the paper much prior to this date that there was a burgler who has been arrested in our area prior with the same last name, and his mothers name starts with N. I thought maybe he was dumb enough to be calling peoples houses to see if they were home before he robbed them, anyway I trace the number and called the police

Dont know who it is, dont know the number and when you call it back (which I tried several times) a recording says sorry your call did not go through. These people whoever it is better wise the hell up before I track them down and they will be sorry I had to personally deal with their stupidity.

Sounds like a call center, when I picked up I could hear people talking in the background but no one talking to me. And if you dial back it's always busy.
