Am tired of these calls. I just pushed the answer button, then set the receiver down until I heard the beeping start. Someone must make a lot of money off these types of call since they continue with increasing frequency.

Same as previously reported; called my cell phone with a "This is the customer service department. Can you hear me?" then went into a recorded spiel about winning a free vacation. I hung up and blocked the number. We recently bought a home and have been receiving legitimate calls from unknown numbers, but I am bordering on just letting everything go to voicemail because of these spoofed numbers calling at all hours of the day.

I received the call promising an Orlando vacation. It was a very convincing robot call, with voice recognition for Yes / No. After I did not answer, it said "I did not understand you. Just to make sure, you still have a valid credit card, and you're over 28, right?" I then hung up.
