This is VZW! Hmmm... Think about it nay sayers? There's a common denominator here... We all have Verizon Wireless service and yet we are talking about whether this is a call from Verizon or not! I received the 615-372-2999 call today and chance has it... I forgot to pay my VZW bill. No big deal! Pay your bill and watch what happens... You will stop getting those calls. At least until the next time your bill is late and you come back here to try to figure it out all over again. LOL

Getting multiple calls from this number on a non-primary phone. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize as about 4 people actually know my number. But going from the other comments, if this caller is claiming to be Verizon, I don't believe it. First, the primary phone didn't get a call, second, we don't have past due bills, and third, we were just in the store two days ago because the primary account holder got a different phone and they transferred all his stuff to the new phone. I'm sure they would have reminded us if there were any past due bills. SCAM.

You may not be the primary on the account but they call the "first" number aka the lower digited one first. Personally, I don't like getting calls that are intended for my employer about the bill with this method.

whoever calls from this number never leaves messages. my number is on the Do Not Call List. If the need to contact me then they should leave a message.

I got a call from them today. It doesn't matter of your number is on the do not call list, That only applies to the solicitation of business. AKA telemarketers. This call is for the collection of debt. Which can call you even if you are on the DNC list.

who ever calls from this number never leaves a message. When call is picked up no one is ever there. Have not called back because I do not want to give any info to anyone who should not have it. At our home we never pick up calls from people we do not know...bad idea...also my number is on the do not call list (home and cell) .. if this is legit then they need to leave a message (I do listen to them)....

You're not a very good detective then. Case solved Sherlock! It's VZW. I bet you don't get much work. Could be the reason why you got a call from VZW because you didn't have the funds to pay your bill. Good luck with future cases!

when I pick up the phone there is no one there unless I say hello. They can't seem to pronounce our last name correctly so I tell them they have the wrong number. They are calling my house phone too. VERY annoying!!!

It isn't a scam. It is Verizon Wireless. And it IS very annoying. I called VZ when I knew I wasn't going to be able to pay my bill on time. I asked for 10 days extension from the due date and they were very accomodating which was great. Very nice CSR on the phone who told me if I needed even more time just let them know. Now I get at least 2-3 calls every day telling me my bill is past due. The first one I received said I had two days to pay or they would terminate service. Called the Customer Service line and was told its an automated call that they can't do anything about until the bill is paid but don't worry about it, the account is fine. The account may be fine but the calls are on my last nerve.

i received two calls fro this number. I was on autmatic payments and they did not properly add my new expiratio n date. I do not appreciatge these phone calls
