When I would not give out my personal information the tele-marketer asked if I was "fucking kidding him". When I asked him if he just used the F word. He said, "Yes you fucking bitch". I asked if he had anything else to say and he said, "Yes you bitch". I asked if that was it and he said I should give him a blow job. Not what you except to hear when business calls to say they are contacting Visa and Mastercard services.

Caller: Credit Card (voice mail) - Saying there's a problem with an account that I don't have.

I just got a call from this number, too. An automated voice left a message on my Google voicemail. Here's the transcription...the first part of the recording appears to have been cut off...this has to be a scam: "...credit card account. There's no problems currently with your accounts. It's urgent however that you contact us immediately concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates. Press 1 now. Your eligibility expires today consider this your final notice. Press 1 to be connected with a live operator."

Someone supplying a recording just called my cell phone number. I don't approve of this kind of calling. PLEASE REMOVE MY NAME FROM YOUR CALLING LIST.

Got a call from this number and when I pressed 1, I got a "hello" from a man with a middle eastern accent. He asked me for my CC expiration date. I responded, if your are a legit CC company you should have all my info on file. He hung up immediately. SCAM!!! Be aware...

Got a call from this number and when I pressed 1, I got a "hello" from a man with a middle eastern accent. He talked about lowering down credit card interests on all Visa and MasterCard related credit cards. He related to me all the cards I have. Already suspicious, I gave a card that is about to reach a limit and he asked to verify the Card # and last 4 of my SS. He was able to tell me my balance, and how far away I am from my CC limit. I hung up on him and I quickly googled this number and found this link. He called me back and I told him what I found and that the offer is suspected of a CC scam. He quickly hung up on me. So here I am. I called my CC company PDQ and cancelled that card for this reason and ordered a different number.

Asiantexan, I have NO credit cards so there was no reason to call me. These companies call random numbers to verify the person they're calling has a credit card, or a business (for the Google scam). They spoof legitimate numbers in many cases so you'll answer. Most won't leave messages, so an answered call means a good number. You made the mistake of (1) answering the call, (2) giving them your credit card #s! They hope to get people like you - because now they just put you on a list that tons more telemarketing companies will be accessing! Don't answer anymore unknown numbers. If it's legit, they'll leave a message that you can call back about.
