I got this call just now. It was for a free Bahamas cruise. if you wait until the end of the message, they give you an option to press 9 to decline and have your number removed from their list. it's a shame we're getting these calls to begin with.

Came up as a cell phone, so I answered it (lesson learned). As others have stated, it was a recorded voice telling me I won a free Bahamas cruise. I am also on the Do Not Call List.

Yes I blame this on Verizon. The second my new LAN phone went active the calls started coming. over 30 calls a month. Robo calls are illegal in Massachusetts. But it's hard to find out who the heck is calling you with calls like this. I suspect a rouge employee selling the database of new phone's issued. There's money in that. I would not have a lan line if it were not for the mandatory phone line in order to order internet services. Since they have done this to me by selling my information I will let the cat out of the bag and tell you what I pay for my internet service. $46.00 a month including taxes and it includes both my phone and my internet. The package is called Double plan bundle and it includes regional essentials 19.99 which is the phone then it has High Speed internet Enhanced for 30.00 a month and since I signed up for it ONLINE I get 5 dollars off. Then I got a speed upgrade introductory offer through this June for another 10- off. Total bill with taxes 46.65. If you are paying more verizon robbed you. Call them and ask for the same package. They screwed me so heck....I screw back.
