Numerous calls.. asked to stop calling and still they call over and over again..

Unwanted call,

They are LEGIT They resolved my critical issue which i was facing from months....

Phone rang with nedham sayyed name showing but no one was there. Fraud call he needs to be stopped.

they just called and knew my first name...however I did not understand what he wanted...the connection was horrible ...I told him never to call back as whatever he wanted I don't care...I'm sure he will call back again from "India or Pakistan" wherever these freaks are. I do have a Dell computer...but not "Norton" anti-virus doesn't matter someone else will call in a few weeks.

they knew my first name and that I have a Dell computer. They said they were from Dell Tech Support and wanted to do a monthly check. Very broken English and I didn't want to do business with them even if they were legit. I asked him how I could be sure he was from Dell. He said to go to the Dell site and I would see his phone number. It was not there. No number was there. when I told him that he hung up.

Called claiming the company was taking over for Dell tech support for dissatisfied customers.

This is a scam computer repair "service". Within one hour talking to Norton technical support, this company calls out of the blue offering computer cleanup "services". Don't ever allow any unknown company any access to your computer or consent to any services. They want quick and easy money and theres no telling what they would put into your computer. They could hold your data hostage for an additional fee to get it back, or put in more viruses, adware, spyware, malware, trojan horses. This caller blocked their name from the caller ID so they should never be trusted with your computer or your data. Just hang up on them!

They called stating that they observed that my Norton was not working correctly and they need to correct it. I told them not interested in what they want to do. Do not call me ever again, my name and number is on the Do Not Call Register. They used fraudulent means to contact me and remove me from their list. I hung up on them and immediately blocked their number from my phone. These people I believe obtain our numbers and contact information because the companies we use hire them to provide customer service and technical support such as Comcast, who provide free Norton Security with their internet service and they misuse that information to try to scam us out of paying for something that is a free service or included in our cost of service already.

I received an unanswered call and decided to call them back to see who it was. You can hear it is definitely a callcenter setup. I have Norton's but have not contacted Norton's in months. A friend got a call from this same phone number and he has NEVER owned a computer, internet connection in his name, or anything. And if you talk to them long enough, they mention they fix computers, software, malware etc, and then go back to the malware issue again and how they will have a technician call me back. He never asked my name or anything, so it means he recorded my number and put me back into their system is my guess. But I have the capability to block numbers so that's what I am going to do. And I am going to report it on the Government's do-not-call website.

I haven't talked to Norton Tech Support in months but I do have Norton's on my computer, so it means Norton's got hacked or sold our info and did not tell us.

Yes. however recognizing marketing calls, which are quite annoying

Thanks for the comments...I also received a voice message from a "foreign sounding woman" proclaiming to be with Norton and offering to provide more tech support. Unless I know in advance to expect a call I am always suspicious anyway therefore I googled the number and found these comments.

I CONTINUE TO GET CALLS FROM THIS SCAM >> (631) 353-4127
How can I report them ? They do not identify themselves. When I ask they hang up. How can they be reported

Norton Security by Symantec has a severe problem with Security.
I received my first scam call in November 2014 and received another one just now. In the first call, they had my Symantec Information:
My phone number and my name with the exact same misspelling that Norton has on my account. No other company had this same, very unusual misspelling of my last name as Norton along with my personal cell phone number.
Despite that they had my personal information, I figured out it was a scam before I finally allowed them to remotely take over my computer. I called Norton about the scam, they were supposed to get back to me about how someone got my personal information that only they had, but of course I never heard from them.

Symantec has broken English too
Less than one hour after getting technical support from Norton, this scammer calls out of the blue saying he needs to do further repair on my computer. Don't consent to anything with callers like this. This is a nothing but a scam. These people will screw up your computer and then offer repairs to the damage for a price. It seems like Norton is probably selling your phone number to these scammers while you're getting technical support.

I received a call less than 24 hours after contacting Norton for a "malware issue." This person called to say that he was from Fix Spytech and wanted to discuss my "malware isue" with me. I then chatted with Norton, who said that it was spam. It seems more than coincidental that all of these people have the same issue soon after chatting Norton customer service. I certainly wonder if Norton is protecting my personal information.

Similar situation... I called Symantec for Norton product technical help with some spam emails I was getting. After the weekend, I got a follow-up call from this #. The male caller had an accent (Indian?) and referenced my email problem. The connection was very poor so, shortly into the conversation, I requested they call back but they didn't.

I too had received a call from this number and the person said his name was DAVID from Secured and safe, (as i am an existing customer with this company)... This guy DAVID said he wanted to service my computer, I happily entertained him and allowed him to access my Laptop, but suddenly after few minutes i found some suspicious activities happening on my laptop where this DAVID was working. At the same moment without wasting a single moment i called up the toll free number of Secured and Safe and inquired them whether they are servicing my laptop, i was literally shocked when I learnt that they weren't working on it and they also said that there was no such technician at their place whose name was DAVID.
They quickly said me to log off my laptop first and then conveyed that DAVID was about to SCAM me and Ruin my laptop.
OMG I was just in a state of shock after knowing all this.
I would like to thanks this SECURED AND SAFE guys for saving me once again with my laptop and also helping me out whenever I need them.
People beware of such prank and scam calls.. But would love to say that Secured and Safe is doing a great job.

"David" from this number called my 58-year-old mother shortly after she contacted Norton customer support. They mentioned Norton and official Microsoft products in a way that misled her into thinking he was official Norton support. Anyway, he scammed her out of $200 and all of her personal information because she let them remotely access her computer. Dumb, I know, but she had just been chatting with Norton about the same issues so they preyed on that. If I'd been home, "David" would've gotten an earful.
"David" said he was in Irvine, California (securedandsafe.us is their website) but the call originates from Texas.
NEVER fall for these tech support scams-- the cold-calling is extremely suspicious. Take your computer to a reputable, local repair shop if you're having problems.
