Godless Teleterrorist trying to find some idiot that will answer the phone to an unknown number or worse yet some brainless imbecile that would actually call the number back. You know the type, people that don't have a clue and that actually think the incompetent government and its silly little Do Not Call List actually work.

They called but I did not pick up as I didn't recognize the number. I am on the cell phone do not call registry, but received a call anyway.

Called me. I had a family emergency so I answered it. I said "Hello.", and they started in with a sales spiel. I said "I'm driving, please take me off the call list.", and he said "this won't take but a moment.", and I yelled I AM DRIVING, take me off the call list!" And hung up.

646 866-9198 called us and hung up. Nowdays with the internet, anyone can get your address or phone number, or your children's school info, etc. With all the psychos and stalkers out there, we didn't take any chances and turned this phone number in to the authorities. We suggest you do the same. Don't risk your family's lives to these possible violent offenders.

why not overreact more? If you are that worried about some random person calling you and killing your whole family, smash all your phones, burn off your fingerprints, never stay in one place more than a few days and burn every piece of clothing you may have ever worn in your entire life. That way your paranoia is complete.

I received a call day before yesterday and they started asking me about some body named "WILLIAMS" They mentioned the school their kids go to. I took it as a prank call.

I agree totally. The internet has made the US a scary place. I too found my name and address, phone etc. on the internet without my permission. Have been getting those IRS scam calls. At least in Europe they have some privacy laws. I recently got a service that zaps robo calls. This number got zapped after one ring.
