Just received a phone call from this number. When I attended it, a recorded voice tells "your verification code is ...... good bye". Its weird

Wonder what these calls are - and why would they call internationally..!! I received this call on German Cell phone. I haven't opened any new accounts - so wonder what the veryfication is for? Have random 4 digit numbers left on my Voice Mail.

I received a call from this number when tried to open a new Youtube account. Nowadays, to open an account in Youtube, the system asks you to provide a cell phone number for verification purposes. Then, they call you and leave a message with the code number, which you need to type into the youtube account you are creating. So, I guess this is a legit call, and formally is related to Google, the owner of Youtube. In fact, the call comes from Mountain View, CA.

I got 9 calls from that same number. In about 30min. It's a password reset code. I believe my crazy ass ex-gf is trying to get into my account. To get into my facebook, I have a totally different email.

First get SMS with text: " Dear Google-Bestatigungscode lautet 30XXXX. (from +46737494533)
after couple minutes i got second SMS: "Dear Google-Bestatigungscode lautet 32XXXX (from: google - it was no number) - code was diferent in sms

....and after couple minutes I get call from : 1-650-353-9140, i answer but they cancel
and
....after couple second I get new call from same number: 1-650-353-9140, i answer, and it recording saying something in german (don't understand), i cancel.....

***and i wasn't do nothing at this time on google

This is a Google/gmail phone number verifying you are adding or changing your gmaill account. It's legit.

I also received a call from that number. They told me a 5 digit number 2 times that it is supposed to be my "Verification Number". Kind of weird.

Received a phone call from this number on 2010-12-18 at 16:10 EST. Bot gave me 5-digit verification number. It seems some tech company doing phone marketing of some sort. Google? Apple?

I live in NJ, my number is 973-xxx-xxxx with T-Mobile.

If you've been giving your number (and other personal info) out on the web like this to sites who don't X it out like this one does, then no wonder you're getting strange calls!!!!!!!!

This is very strange. I just received a call from this number too.

They just start telling random numbers, and saying this was my Verification Number... have no ideia of what they were talking about.

They refuse to identify themselves too.

Block this asap.
