i got a call form this number when i received some computerize voice came and told this is the verification no and tell some random number. it came more than three times and every time it gave different verification number

Also recieved. Its from Google. I entered my phone number when i was confirming my gmail account

how can we unregister to get phone calls from this number?

This is Google's new way of "verifying your Google Account" in YouTube and all other Google services. In order to get into one's YouTube Account and other Google services one now MUST have one of these accounts. Google 'says' that they're simply trying to stem the tide of SPAM, etc. (... .... ...but my opinion is that they are using that as an excuse to gather yet MORE information about everyone. Do NOT quote me on that! )

If you Have _NOT_ applied for any of Google's services simply ignore it. It just means that someone who didn't want to give a real number or a nefarious party has tried to apply for a Google Account with false information and just happened to land on your phone number in doing so. Do NOT try to call back because this is an AUTOMATED service!!! Of _COURSE_ you will get a busy signal!!! duh!

If you HAVE applied for a Google Account such as for YouTube, G-mail, etc. then you've been jumping or have jumped through Google's long and drawn out application process and SHOULD know exactly what is going on. ... ... ... if you have a brain in your head worth anything at all! ;)

This is very strange. I just received a call from this number too. Some of you say that is google, but i dot have gmail mailbox. what's the problem?

They called both Friday and on Sunday with a 4 digit left one call. Annoying is nothing else. If google one less reason I care for them. East coast of USA.

This is indeed Google. We had asked for a pin code in order to change our placement on Google Maps for our business. They do it either with phone verification or by post card. Probably any code you would need from Google, gmail or otherwise would come to you this way. Nothing to be afraid of! Not a bill collector...LOL
