The phone identified them as Telcom Group when the number called me. There was nothing but dead air; no one speaking.
They offered reduced ATT phone rates. I asked them before I agree to anything, if they can send what they said to me in writing via an email. They hung up on me. Certainly not an ethical company!
Michele from Preferred called me about lowering my AT&T bill. I noticed they have been calling several times but when I call the number back it rings without voicemail. They are very vague about how they will be saving us money so I became suspicious. Called my AT&T rep to see if he knew anything about this. Had never heard of this company or the program they are offering. This is a scam and would not bother with them.
This number keep calling and hang up, looks like they are stealing information, block the number and report it
Have received calls from this number daily for the last 2 weeks (even after asking them to stop calling!). Answered a & spoke to a Female telemarketer who claims they are with "Preferred" (an AT&T authorized re-seller) and was letting me know about changes that have already been made to our business phone services that will lower telephone line charges by 30-50% (as if it's already in the works, they just need my approval). After quizzing her on the information they had regarding my "current account" with AT&T, she asked what we were paying for our current phone services. If she had access to my account, wouldn't she know that already? This is when I hung up on her. I guess now we know what people in Vegas do during the daytime hours, just another scam!
