recorded massage and when I tried to speak with someone to name, no one was available.

"Life Alert" "Medical Alert" scam call. Got a robo-greeting, pressed 1 to speak with somebody. Upon getting, "please hold recording", it was clear this was a scam, due to the poor message audio quality. Finally got someone on the phone, claiming to be "Amy Foster". I asked if they had a website. She had to check with her supervisor. Came back, said her supervisor was away, and that they didn't have a website, but that I could google for "Medical Alert", to find the site.

Asked her for a telephone number that I could call back on. She replied that because they're an outbound call center, there was no number I could call back to, but that she could call me back later.

So, I said, "Amy, every company has a website nowdays". And now you're telling me that you don't even have an inbound telephone number? Do you realize how that sounds? If I were to purchase this service, and had a problem with it, where would I call?"

Amy: You would call Customer Service.

Me: And, Amy, what is the number for Customer Service?

Amy: 1800 Medical.



Me: Okay, thank you. Call ended.

So, then I call 1-800-medical. It's a dead-end phone number. There's a recording, but it's useless.

The I call back 714-200-6666. Verizon wireless recording. Again, dead-end.
