I received the same unsolicited text to my cell phone two weeks ago: "I'm George promoter of Cuban Petes Nightclub in Lakewood. Grand Opening is Sat. Feb 5th..Do u want FREE Passes? TEXT VIP TO 562.371.5799 www.CubanPetes­VIP.com"
Now I received another one today, 2/20/11 @ 7:26pm.....The text is the same, except the grand opening date now says February 26th???????

Same as everyone else. Unsolicited text message about a night club called Cuban Petes. Text messages were sent to my personal and business cell phones, both of them unlisted.

Just called the FTC to file a formal complaint about this guy and his restaurant promo spam. I will NEVER go to this restaurant - Cuban Pete's in Lakewood, CA. Btw, the restaurant's phone number is 562-630-2229. Their voicemail box is full, but keep trying. They need to know that people are angry with them and their promoter.
