They called and left a message twice today. The number didn't match the phone number on my card. I called the number ON my card, PNC looked at my account, there were no questionable charges or rejected charges. They said this was likely a scam and it was good that I did not call that number back, they were looking to get the rest of my info (they had my name and last 4 digits of card).

Left voice message stating there was a problem with my bank card and they wanted me to call back

I didn’t respond when this number called, but I called PNC customer service and they told me that this number is likely a scam. They outlined the steps they would take if they had detected actual fraud on my account, and none of it involves a call from this number.

I would suggest not responding to this number, and instead talk to customer service directly at your bank!

Pnc called and it was legit. I was trying to order something online and it did not go through even though I had funds. They called to make sure I was the one trying to place the order. They were looking out for me!

This is PNC Fraud prevention department. If they called, a flag was set on your account for a unfamiliar purchase based on your purchase history and habits. Call PNC and they will verify this number. It's NOT harassment, better to be safe than sorry. Do not ignore a call from this number. Only a crook wants you to ignore this number.

Got a message for my son about suspicious activity on his debit card. Even though everything about this call was suspicious as hell, such as calling an out of date number (mom's after kid has moved and definitely changed the info with the bank) and having a big tacky caller ID of PNCCARLOSTPREVN, and having PNC rep say she didn't know that number but just to go ahead and call it anyway but don't give any new info (!?) It really was them. I sent an email scolding PNC for telling my son to call a potential scammer. They tactfully said they apologized for the confusion and understood that the situation was suspicious, but they COULD confirm that 800-225-5671 WAS their Visa transaction phone number.

I got a call from this number, I called PNC's fraud prevention line (not the call back number) and they did want to verify a transaction that was made from me and they told me I was good to go from there.

Called claiming there was fraudulent activity on my account.

Don't have a card, but they keep calling. I don't answer

Calling numerous times a day saying they are from PNC and there is a concern about activity on my debit card.

Went to PNC Bank found out this is Right someone has use my card. NOT A SCAM
