They have been calling us for the past 6 months every day about 3-4 times a day at least. We just moved into our place about 6 months ago and this is a brand new (to us) number, so it has been quite frustrating. We just called them back (*69 gave us the number, then we looked them up here and saw this). It asked us to type in our phone number (it was a recording at this point) so we did, then it connected us to an actual person. We confirmed our number, asked them to remove us because the person they were calling for doesn't live here, and she said it will take 24-48 hours to go into affect, at which point we should receive no more phone calls from them. We're crossing our fingers.

This number relentlessly calls my daughter's cell phone and uses all her minutes by leaving text messages and voice mail. She does not have debt! They may be trying to contact someone who used to own that number, but this calling needs to STOP! When I have called them back to get this number off their calling list, it then connects you to someone who puts you on eternal hold, so you can never talk to anyone!

these people wont stop calling my cell phone i have had my cell phone for about 7 yrs now and they call almost 4 times a day is there a way to block them

About the only thing you can do is send them a friendly registered letter in the mail asking them to stop calling you.
At the same time, filing a report with the Federal Trade Commission, is also a good idea.

Collection agencies have to follow the rules to attempt to collect. One of those rules is they cannot contact you if you request they stop in writing. Each time they break a rule it can mean a $1000.00 fine.

Stop Calling Me Please

These idiots have been calling us for 4 years asking for someone who doesn't live here.We need to organize and go after them. Does anyone know the whole name of the comp and it's location?

ARGH! These people have been calling me since I got this phone - 6 years ago! They call every 2-3 months and ask for Jennifer Armstrong. I tell them that I don't know Jennifer Armstrong and to please remove my cell phone number from her account. They say OK. 3 months later, another freaking call. QUIT CALLING ME! I DON'T KNOW JENNIFER ARMSTRONG!!!

I blocked this number but they keep leaving a message.
For two day now, they have called at around 11AM PST

This company keeps calling for a person who does not live here. A machine tells me to hang up if I am not that person and if I can to call this number. After many, many months of hanging up, I called that number and got another machine. I want it to stop. Anyone got any ideas and who we can report it to. I did find a letter I could write if I knew who they were and what their address is.

ERC has been calling my phone for, I don't know, but I've had this number for 6 or 7 years... not the whole time. It has never been the number of the person they are looking for. I called them today to advise them that they have the wrong number and found out what was wrong, then stuck me on hold... FOR 10 MINUTES until I gave up. I think they must be getting paid by the call or something.

GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE THESE BAD PEOPLE ARRESTED. MAY GOD LOVE THEM TOO SOMEDAY..

They are a collection agency called ERC.
