9013027545 The asked for last 6 of the social and stated I would receive a 99.00 credit.
I received the call today (November 1, 2017) and it was a lady with an accent. She asked me if i had heard about the $99.00 Rebate and I told her that i did not. I asked her how do i participate to receive the rebate. She needed my pin and SSN. I told her some numbers and other numbers as to what they were, well they were all made up. I had fun with this lady. She asked me to take down a few numbers to get qualified for the Verizon Rebate program. She explained that for every new phone purchased in the last year i was to receive the 99. I was excited becase i told her that i just purchased 6 new phopnes and she said that it only shows one new purchase and it was actually 4 new phones. I explained what phones they were and gave her numbers which they have called me on and she said that I could not have those numbers as my numbers and told her that she just called me on one of theose numbers and she hung up. I called back and it was busy. they called me back after 10 minutes and it was someone that sounded like the same lady and she declined that it was her. I asked her for her SSn and pin as verification that she was Verizon. She has not called back as of yet. HAhAHA i can play games too. Don't call my number or i will play along really well with blocked numbers and ssn numbers that you can look up on line as stolen numbers that are no good anymore because of the use of them. I get them all the time. It is sooo ssooo funny.
Decided to try and call them back and scam them
DEFINITE SCAM! Claiming to be offering rebates for Long Standing Verizon customers. Do not give out PIN or SS# or any other information. I verified the call with Verizon that they use your PIN and SS# and any other information to order expensive phones from any lines on your account that are available for upgrade.
Definitely a SCAM disguising themselves as Verizon! I called the actual Verizon and they confirmed that people with foreign accents are calling in and using the Pin or SS# to order phones on your account. DO NOT GIVE OUT PINS, Passwords, or SS#!
