Inaccurate name. Called multiple times and hung up.

This number called my cell phone and reported it was "Dell Computers" calling. I asked why Dell Computers is calling me. The female caller spoke with a thick middle-eastern accent and said she was calling in regards to a computer purchase I made two days prior. I told her I didn't purchase any computer. She then repeated my name and the last four numbers of my credit card. I didn't confirm either, but told her that I definitely wouldn't buy a Dell computer, so what else does she want. She told me I need to contact the fraud department then and she would cancel the transaction. I cancelled my credit card, just in case, but the whole call sounded fishy. She never said what department she was calling from or anything and left the whole conversation very generic, as if expecting me to finish out the rest of the sentences (Confirm my name, credit card number, etc). She wasn't very persistent, though. Blocked the number from my phone anyway because I'll never need support from Dell, anyway. But the number that appeared on my phone is definitely a Dell customer service phone number.

Trying to sell extended warranties.

Called but do not answer numbers I so not know, left voice mail claiming to be from Dell, however a Google search claims it's a scam nor this number is on there website.

Here's the problem! They are calling from another country. They use Dells phone number...They either have an app that allows that, calling from their computer or what you can't see is the country code..I saw it show up on my comcast caller history one day. I get calls all the time from Dell and now emails..It isn't Dell...But it also isn't all Dells fault...

Even if it is Dell, these simply can't be legitimate calls from management. They are calling from another country. I just received my third call. Today's scam was I supposedly asked to have my service changed from cloud to a disk. They said, "All we need from you is $64.95 and to get a little information, and we can send that to you." It very possibly could be people working for Dell, but Dell needs to look into this. I recognized the number and found two other calls from them. And I don't think Dell would be calling you for any reason other than sales, and only if you're a business. If it's about returning a product or resolving an issue, they email you.

fraudulent call -not really from DELL

Just got a phone call from this number. I don't own a dell computer so why would service support contact me?

It is Dell.

This IS DELL! I was waiting for an important call from them, and it got blocked by Call Control because of hyper-reactive people, that don't know what they are talking about, posting the number as a scam calling number. Thanks a lot, people! Again, this is a LEGITIMATE NUMBER from DELL.

They arent from Dell. They claim you have been infected by malware and try to coax you into giving out ur personal info. If you have a Dell, they have your name and, model, and purchase date, but make no mistake, they are SCAMMERS. Ive been fighting these vermin for 6 months. Oh, and they change numbers roughly every 2 weeks.

This is the Dell Computer Service Depot number. As a computer professional I needed it unblocked.

This is a legitimate number from Dell. They were calling me back about a cancelled order.
