I don't know anyone in a correctional facility & anyone I do know in there does not have my new number.

Called about 10 times. When I called to remove my number they stayed that I had to set up an account to have my number removed. They wanted my full name, address, email address, and other info before they could put my number on the do not call list.

Calling about an inmate named "Vicky" at the Wichita County Jail (940-341-2505).

Wants payment options to set up an account. This feels like a money grabbing system trying to defraud people without their knowledge based on the phone call I had with the GTL or GTI rep.

I received 3 calls in the last 2 days. I understand that it may be legit, but when I called they won't tell me what state the call is coming from so there is no way I'm giving them any of my information. They should at least tell you that!

I did have a loved one in jail over the weekend, but called from a different number. There was a message before I talked to him about setting up an account, but I declined. He got out yesterday, and today i received this call. I guess they just keep calling. i will block this number now.

The company is legitimate. I have a friend that recently went to prison in NY and this is how he contacted me. After I set up an account and put in a small amount of money, we were able to talk. It is expensive and the only way he is able to contact me. This doesn’t mean there aren’t inmates calling numbers randomly or a scan of some kind but it is a real company that allows me to speak to my friend. If you absolutely know you don’t have a loved one in prison, listen to the end of the voice mail and it tells you how you can block all calls from prison.
