Call from "Verizon" multiple calls to my phone in two weeks, left no message, but when I picked up said to go to a website to get a refund on my phone bill. One week it was $82 and the other it was over $100 but can't remember the exact number. I have AT&T, which was the tip-off to me about the scam/spam.

I have received several phone calls to about the same situation. So I called Verizon and then said that they've already had several calls about the same thing and said that it's a scam.

recorded message identifying itself as Verizon Wireless telling you to visit a website that is clearly not Verizon Wireless. smells phishy.

Recording claiming to be Verizon saying it wants me to go to some website to get a $153 credit on my next statement. FAIL!!!! Called Verizon and they are aware of the problem.

i just recieved two calls from the 800 600 1228 today and states how i can save $100+ dollars on my bill and directs me to some web site(didnt get the site name). When i tried to call the number back, it wouldm't allow the call to go through.

Received this call at 10:51PM. I don't answer unknown calls. A message was left by a man with a very deep, gruff voice saying something about one hundred and eighty some dollars. I could not understand what he was saying. I've had a call like this before from the same person - could not understand him that time either. Before my phone was done ringing my husband's phone rang with the same number showing. No message was left. We are on the National Do Not Call list and this will be reported.
