Scam call, claims to be Verizon. Robocall, somebody please hang these scammers
This number called me....robotic voice, claiming to be Verizon and there was an issue with my account. I hung up and promptly called a known Verizon number. Yep.....SCAM !!!!
Caller: Claimed to be Verizon
Got a call from this number at 10:02 pm stating they were from AT&T, and my account had been frozen, and I must speak to a rep now by pressing # 1 I hung up. Called the number back, and the first thing they said was this call will be monitored and if I was age 50 or anybody in my home that was 50 please press the # on my key pad, I hung up again.
Claims to be from AT&T stating Bill is outstanding and to call back immediately. I called a legit number and they said my Bill is good. They said it is a scam.
