I just had this to a few days ago with someone actually claiming to be with Verizon and publishers clearing house,,, claiming I won all these prizes and now got an automated message about logging into Verizon to claim my prize

Caller said that $615 would be taken off my bill if I logged in to www.vzw615.com. It sounded too good to be true so I went to the webpage to see what it was. It actually takes you to the verizon webpage, but it must be some sort of shadow or proxy that will capture all of your logon information. DON"T LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT FROM THAT PAGE. I got the call on 9/11/13 at 1:58 pm. I called Verizon and alerted them to the scam.

Just received a call telling me to log on to www.vzw620.com and that I had been awarded $620 for being a valued customer.

Clearly a scam; thank you all that have posted here on Everycall.us to keep me from finding this out the hard way!

did not answer 2 calls on my cell phone at about 4:45 pm and 5:10 PM. Looked up a Google Search and found others had gotten scam calls from the same number

The call claimed to be a promotion for a bill discount for Verizon Wireless. I suspect, however, that the call is a scam of some sort and that the caller does not actually represent Verizon Wireless.
