Called me just a few minutes ago. Tried to get me to give the last 4 digits of my social security number. Three question survey. Didn't give him any info. Sounded like Brad (Alice's brother) from Workaholics.

When I called Verizon with the number on their website, I was given this number to call a specific department. So seem to be a mix of real and fake calls. Probably someone spoofing the number and pretending to be Verizon.

I called the above number, as I had established a password for my new Motorola Droid Ultra but when went back in to use my phone it stated I was using an incorrect passcode. I was transferred to tech support and was told to log into https://securelogmeinrescue.com. I was then told that my computer was being hacked into by foreign hackers and in this country hackers. I was disconnected, so they asked for my phone number, so they could call me back. I gave them my phone number (this was all done typing on the computer. They called me three times and we kept getting disconnected. I was told that I had to either take my computer to a Microsoft Store in Albertville, MN or I could take care of it on-line. The price at the store to fix my problem would be $399.99 and it would take 2-3 days or they could transfer me to an on-line certified Microsoft Technician and they would fix it in about 45 minutes for $299.99. I became suspicious and just hung up on them. Last night when I didn't know your support number, I goggled Verizon customer service phone number or something like that and this is the website that popped up: Support for Wireless - Call toll free 1-800-256-4751; EmaiIIssues.net/verizonphonenumber; Get phone number for wireless support. I called this number thinking it was a legitimate number for Verizon. It ended up I was being scammed by a company called "Ankvin Tech Support LLC, P.O. Box 1127, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724. Gave me a different toll free number of 1-800-896-8394 with an email address of support@pcupdatessupport.com. I allowed them into my computer and they said I was being hacked by many different hackers and they could fix it and our two laptops for $680. I was to send them a check to their post office box. After all of this, I finally became suspicious, so did not send them a check. Now, I am afraid they do have access to everything on my computer and I don't know what to do. I am a new customer to Verizon with a brand new Motorola Droid Ultra phone, which I cannot get into as it is locked and it keeps telling me I am entering an incorrect password. I, once again, called you at 1-800-922-0204. A nice lady tried to help me but after holding for a while she came back on and said she would have to transfer me to technical support. I held for a while but then hung up. Needless to say, I wish I would have never even purchased a cell phone or signed up for service. I have no idea what to do at this point!!!

Called saying he was with T-Mobile Technical support, that they were going to work on the towers in my area and would give me a $10 per line credit. Said his name was Marcus, asked for my name and last 4 of my ss#, when I told him I wasn't the primary he started asking me more questions and getting agitated when I wouldn't tell him anything about the primary. Made me really suspicious so I hung up and checked the number on google which brought me here.
