Requested my full ss number and could not explain why.

Their called ID shows 727-556-5000 and you are asked to call 800-947-6229 and to enter your Macy’s card number. If you do not have it, they ask you to enter your full social security number. Total fraud and dangerous scam

I get calls from this number multiple times a day. I'm 90 years old and still very coherent, and this is harassment. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.

They are horrible people. I already told my situation to the first girl I spoke with 2 weeks ago and she noted the payment I made and my situation. Unfortunately, these people from Macy's collections or whatever they call themselves and with their thick accent which makes it hard to understand keeps on calling 5-6 times a day starting from 8:30am until 6pm. They don't care about your situation. They will just keep on bothering people.

Terrible situation... From this number 1-800-947-6229 I am receiving like 8 or 10 calls daily... The person who speaks says that they are calling ön behalf of Macys and Bllomingdales" and is asking to have money.. they ask for certain amount of money in an aggressive/ continuos manner... This has been happening like a month ago... These persons don't leave any message. Caller: On behalf of Macys and Bloomingdale"s

They asked me to pay 1045 dollars, saying that they want to close my account and other things.

I entered a bunch of phone numbers and finally was transferred to an "agent" who claimed to be calling on behalf of Macys and Bloomingdales... I have reported this to Macy's and to the ftc -- asked to be removed from their call list -- we will see what happens...

They have been calling me on my regular flip phone for a few years now but lately I have seen quite an uptick of these calls. This # and this one 8005113207. Receiving up to 7 calls on some days. At least one every day. How do I block this on a regular cell phone not a smartphone?

12 missed calls from this number in 3 days, no voicemails left. I do see my Macys card is legitimately overdue, paid it and hopefully the calls will now stop.

Call all day long

I just blocked this caller after I've received 4 calls today from this number with no messages left. It came up as "Macys" on my caller ID. I logged into Macys.com and I have no balance on my card and when I called customer support (used number on the back of my card) they didn't have a balance for me and there are no notes or communication listed on my account. This seems like some kind of scam. I haven't answered and there are no voicemails.

Need to listen to the message they leave, very carefully. They are not Macy's. They say the calling "on behalf of Macy's." This is a scam. I blocked my number and called them back to see who they are. The won't reveal but say they are in a call center representing Macy's and Bloomingdales. Wanted my phone number and/or account so they could tell me what they were calling about. I told them I already found out what I needed to understand what they might be calling about and they will never get any information from me. BTW, the calls from the same 800# but the voice mails are from a different number AND they leave different numbers to call them back on. SCAM FOR SURE! Don't give any account numbers or phone numbers to them. I use *67 to block my number I'm calling from to show up for them to see.

Have them blocked but they still leave message.

Wrong person. I don't have any credit cards.
