What is a "Government Scam" Robocall?

Scammers who call people posing as a government agency are commonly referred to as "government scams". There are many different agencies these callers pose as, but they most commonly pose as the IRS. They say you have not paid your taxes and are wanted by the government. These calls can be very convincing, as they will usually have your name and home address, but they will request your social security number and sometimes even your bank information. There are other government agencies these scammers pose as, such as your local police department, the Social Security Administration, and Medicare. When people pose as government agencies, they are violating the law and should be reported immediately. If you are unsure if you are truly talking to a legitimate government agency or not, you can hang up the call, and call the real agency. Let them know you received a call asking for your information, and you want to be sure it wasn’t a scam call. The agency will be able to tell you if you are actually in trouble with them or not.

User leaves a voicemail if you don't answer and if you do answer they say this is our fourth attempt or this is our last attempt to reach you regarding your credit card so that we can lower your interest... Is that the bullshit scam.

I also get calls from this number 1 805 637 7243. Mostly voice mails. What I do is that I just delete it and don't respond. I tried texting once but they didnt respond either. So best thing is to ignore it. I can't pick up the phone any way because Im deaf. Ignoring is best for me.

My phone told me that I had a new voicemail and I didnt have a missed call and then when I called the number back and it said it was my voicemail and them beeped I don't have T-moblie

They called my new number and didn't leave a message, however they neglected to hang up and left it recording. I heard two or three men talking and cursing about some woman. They said after she took over everything went to !@#$. They used the F word and said they had a $hitload of stuff to finish and something about every 3-4 months and all I heard was mumbling after that. After hearing that, I definitely won't be picking up that number if they call back.
